Tablet computers are procured and managed by IT-SERVICES according to the WUPOL Mobile End User Devices. The tablet computer is a mobile end-user device that is connected to the IT infrastructure at WU. Therefore tablet computers are only available with Mobile Device Management, to ensure the security of data at WU. Tablet PCs use the optional SIM card exclusively for mobile data connections. iPads and tablet computers are therefore no suitable replacement for WU employee cell phones.
