"Remote Wipe" durchführen

Mit diesem Schritt wird Ihr Mobilgerät auf Werkseinstellungen zurückgesetzt und darauf gespeicherte Passwörter und Daten werden per Fernzugriff gelöscht.
Externe SD-Karten, die mit dem Gerät verschlüsselt wurden, werden damit automatisch unlesbar (nur bei Android-Geräten und Windows-Phone!).

1. Loggen Sie sich bei Outlook Web App ein: https://owa.wu.ac.at

2. Klicken Sie auf das Zahnrad-Symbol rechts oben

   Open

   

    und wählen Sie den Punkt Optionen:

3. Wählen Sie links die Menüpunkte Allgemein > Mobile Geräte.

4. Wählen Sie Ihr Gerät aus und klicken Sie danach auf das Symbol "Alle Daten zurücksetzen" über der Tabelle:

5. Warten Sie, bis das Zurücksetzen als erfolgreich bestätigt wird.

6. Wichtig: Nach erfolgreichem Remote Wipe ändern Sie bitte Ihr Accountpasswort im Controlpanel.
   Setzen Sie auch neue Passwörter bei allen von Ihnen genutzten Apps (z.B. Facebook, Amazon, Banking etc.) und Gerätekonten (Google Konto, Apple Konto, Microsoft Konto etc.).

A "remote wipe" resets your mobil device to factory settings. This results in deleting all data and passwords that are saved on your mobile device.
It will also be impossible for anyone to read the content of external SD cards which were encrypted on the device (this is only the case with Android-devices and Windows-Phones!).

1. Log in to Outlook Web App: https://owa.wu.ac.at

2. Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner 

    and select Options:

3. Select General > Mobile devices on the left.

4. Select your device and then click the symbol saying "Wipe all data" above the table.

5. Wait until the reset is confirmed as successful.

6. Important: After a successful remote wipe, please change your WU account password in the Controlpanel application.
   Also set new passwords for all apps you use (e.g. Facebook, Amazon, eBanking etc.) and your device account(s) (Google Account, Apple Account, Microsoft Account etc.).
