IT-SERVICES betreibt an der WU für zentrale Services ein Datacenter. Departments und Institute haben die Möglichkeit, dort selbst Server einzustellen und zu betreuen. IT-SERVICES empfiehlt dabei eine redundante Netzwerk- und Stromanbindung. Bei Interesse wenden Sie sich bitte über den Service Desk an die Abteilung Netzwerk & Infrastruktur.

Folgende Informationen benötigen wir in diesem Fall von Ihnen:

• Zwei Verantwortliche (organisatorisch und technisch)

• Zutrittsberechtigung für welche Personen?

• Rackspace (Höheneinheiten des Servers etc.)

• Netzwerk-Anbindung (Anzahl der Ports, Konfiguration etc.)

• Stromverbrauch (Leistungsaufnahme)

• Required rackspace (rack unit of the server etc.)

• Network connection (number of ports, configuration etc.)

• Power consumption
