1. Öffnen der Sandbox:

   • Rufen Sie das Startmenü auf Ihrem zentral verwalteten Gerät auf.

   • Geben Sie "Windows Sandbox" in die Suchleiste ein und starten Sie die Anwendung.

2. Software testen:

3. Schließen der Sandbox:

Problem: You want to test new software before submitting a procurement request, but installing new applications on centrally managed employee devices is not permitted. This makes it challenging to evaluate software.

Cause: Individually required software cannot be procured independently by organizational units due to internal WU policies.

Solution: Use the Windows Sandbox to test software without impacting your employee device. The Windows Sandbox is an isolated environment where applications can be safely tested. All changes are deleted after the sandbox is closed.

Steps to Use Windows Sandbox:

1. Open the Sandbox:

   • Open the Start menu on your centrally managed device.

   • Type "Windows Sandbox" into the search bar and start the application.

2. Test the Software:

   • Drag the installation file or the application to be tested into the Sandbox.

   • Install and test the software within the isolated environment.

3. Close the Sandbox:

   • Exit the Sandbox to delete all data and changes. Your centrally managed device remains unaffected.
