Im Formular zum Austausch von Arbeitsplatzgeräten können Sie durch Auswahl der Option „Interessensbekundung an der Übernahme des Altgeräts“ eine private Übernahme des alten Geräts anfragen. Die private Übernahme ist kostenlos, verlangt aber einen bestimmten Ablauf.
Ablauf der privaten Übernahme
Sie erklären beim Beantragen Ihres neuen Arbeitsplatzcomputers Ihr Interesse an der Übernahme des Altgeräts (vgl. Formularhinweis oben).
Sie erhalten Ihr neues Gerät von IT-SERVICES im Rahmen eines Onboarding-Termins.
Sie geben im vorgesehenen Zeitraum Ihr altes Gerät fristgerecht an IT-SERVICES zurück.
Erst nach der Rückgabe an IT-SERVICES erhalten Sie eine Zu- oder Absage zu Ihrem Übernahmeantrag.
IT-SERVICES kontaktiert Sie, wenn Ihr altes Gerät für die private Nutzung bereit ist und an Sie übergeben werden kann.
Bitte beachten Sie
Wenn Sie Ihr altes Gerät bereits zurückgegeben haben, können Sie nachträglich kein Übernahmeansuchen mehr stellen.
Gerätekonfiguration bei privater Übernahme
IT-SERVICES entfernt sämtliche WU-Lizenzen und löscht alle auf dem Gerät gespeicherten Daten unwiderruflich. Sie erhalten Ihr altes Gerät mit einer neuen Windows-Installation ausgehändigt. Inkludiert ist nur das Basis-Betriebssystem - fehlende Treiber und Updates sowie benötigte Software müssen Sie selbst installieren bzw. beschaffen.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass die WU für privat übernommene Geräte keine Gewährleistung übernimmt und auch keinen Support leistet.
Eigenleistung bei Geräteübernahme
Um Ihr Gerät nutzen zu können, installieren Sie bitte fehlende Windows-Updates und Gerätetreiber. Wir empfehlen folgende Vorgehensweise:
Das erste angelegte Benutzerkonto verfügt über Administrator-Rechte. Vergeben Sie unbedingt ein Passwort und verwenden Sie dieses Benutzerkonto nicht für die tägliche Arbeit!
Installieren Sie fehlende Betriebssystem-Updates (siehe Microsoft-Support).
Wiederholen Sie diesen Schritt, bis keine Updates mehr angeboten werden! (Dabei werden auch Gerätetreiber installiert.)Sollten einzelne Geräte nicht erkannt werden, können Sie vom Gerätehersteller bereitgestellte Treiberdateien und Updates installieren bzw. aktualisieren (siehe folgend).
Legen Sie abschließend ein zweites Benutzerkonto für Ihre tägliche Arbeit an und vergeben Sie ein anderes Passwort, um Ihre Daten auf dem Gerät zu schützen.

Öffnen Sie den Abschnitt Erhalten Sie Lenovo System Update, um zum Download der Software zu gelangen.
Beachten Sie die beschriebene Abhängigkeit von .NET-Installationen für das Tool auf der Herstellerseite.
Treiberupdates für Dell-Geräte
Installieren und verwenden Sie das Tool Dell Command Update.
Wir empfehlen Ihnen, die “klassische” Version für Intel- oder AMD-Prozessoren zu verwenden.
Beachten Sie die beschriebene Abhängigkeit von .NET-Installationen für das Tool auf der Herstellerseite.

Taking personal ownership of used workplace computers
In the support form "Provision of workplace computer," select the option Expression of interest in taking over the old device to request ownership of your old workplace computer. This transfer of ownership is free of charge but requires a fixed procedure.
Procedure for taking personal ownership
When applying for your new workplace computer, you express your interest in taking personal ownership of your old device (see the note above regarding the support form).
You will receive your new device from IT-SERVICES during an onboarding appointment.
You must return your old device to IT-SERVICES within the timeframe specified in the communication.
Only after returning the device to IT-SERVICES will you receive either an approval or a denial of your request for personal ownership.
IT-SERVICES will contact you when your old device is ready for private use, and when you can pick it up.
Please note:
If you have already returned your old device, you cannot submit a request for personal ownership afterward.
Device configuration for personal ownership
IT-SERVICES will remove all WU licenses and irreversibly delete all data stored on the device. You will receive your old device with a fresh Windows installation, with only the basic operating system installed. You will need to install or obtain any missing drivers, updates, and required software yourself.
Please note: WU does not provide any warranty or support for devices for which you have taken personal ownership.
User responsibilities for devices in personal ownership
To use your device, please install any missing Windows updates and device drivers first. We recommend the following steps:
The first user account created has administrator rights. Be sure to set a secure password. Do not use this account for daily work!
Install any missing operating system updates (see Microsoft Support).
Repeat this step until your device is up to date, and no further updates are available! (This will also install device drivers.)If specific devices on the laptop are still not recognized, you can install or update driver files and updates provided by the device manufacturer (see below).
Finally, create a second user account for your daily work and set a different password to protect your data on the device.
Driver updates for Lenovo devices
Install and use the Lenovo System Update tool.
Open the section "Get Lenovo System Update" to access the software download.
Please note the required .NET installations for the tool on the manufacturer's page.
Driver updates for Dell devices
Install and use the Dell Command Update tool.
We recommend using the ”classic” version for Intel or AMD processors.
