2FA: Microsoft Authenticator-App registrieren

Öffnen Sie die Seite My Sign-Ins | Security Info | Microsoft.com auf Ihrem WU Notebook.

1. Melden Sie sich mit Ihrer WU E-Mail-Adresse (vorname.nachname@wu.ac.at) an.

2. Wählen Sie anschließend Weiter.

Geben Sie Ihr WU Accountpasswort ein und wählen Sie Anmelden.

Geben Sie Ihren zweiten Faktor (OTP-token; Einmalpasswort) an.

Öffnen Sie den Eintrag Sicherheitsinformationen auf der Webseite. Wählen Sie Anmeldemethode hinzufügen.

Wählen Sie als neue Anmeldemethode Microsoft Authenticator.

Falls Sie die App Microsoft Authenticator bereits auf Ihrem Mobilgerät installiert haben, wählen Sie Weiter.

1. Fehlt Ihnen die App noch auf Ihrem Mobilgerät, installieren Sie diese jetzt: Microsoft Mobile Phone Authenticator App | Microsoft Security. Wählen Sie danach Weiter.

Folgen Sie den Anweisungen auf Ihrem Notebook und klicken Sie anschließend auf Weiter.

Auf Ihrem Mobilgerät: Wählen Sie in der Microsoft Authenticator-App rechts oben das “Plus”-Symbol (“+”) aus.

Wählen Sie Geschäfts- oder Schulkonto und dann QR-Code scannen.

Scannen Sie nun den QR-Code, der Ihnen auf dem Notebook-Bildschirm angezeigt wird. Wählen Sie anschließend Weiter.

Auf Ihrem Notebook-Bildschirm wird nun eine zweistellige Zahl angezeigt. Gleichzeitig erhalten Sie auf Ihrem Mobilgerät eine Eingabeaufforderung in der Microsoft Authenticator-App.

Geben Sie die Zahl auf Ihrem Mobilgerät ein und wählen Sie Ja, um die Überprüfung zu bestätigen.

Bestätigen Sie Ihre Eingabe anschließend mittels TouchID, Gesichtserkennung oder dem PIN für die Gerätesperre am Mobilgerät.

Wählen Sie Weiter, um den Registrierungsprozess abzuschließen. Die Microsoft Authenticator-App wurde erfolgreich registriert.

ÖOpen the page My Sign-Ins | Security Info | Microsoft.com on your WU notebook.

1. Log in with your WU email address (vorname.nachname@wu.ac.at).

2. Then select Continue.

Enter your WU account password and select Log in.

Please provide your second factor (OTP token; one-time password).

Open the entry Security Information on the website. Select Add Login Method.

Choose Microsoft Authenticator as your new sign-in method.

If you have already installed the app Microsoft Authenticator on your mobile device, select Next.

1. If you do not have the app on your mobile device yet, install it now: Microsoft Mobile Phone Authenticator App | Microsoft Security. Then select Next.

Follow the instructions on your notebook and then click Next.

On your mobile device: In the Microsoft Authenticator app, select the “Plus” symbol (“+”) in the top right corner.

Select Business or School Account and then Scan QR Code.

Now scan the QR code that is displayed on the notebook screen. Then select Next.

A two-digit number is now displayed on your notebook screen. At the same time, you receive a prompt on your mobile device in the Microsoft Authenticator app.

Enter the number on your mobile device and select Yes to confirm the verification.

Confirm your input subsequently using TouchID, Face Recognition, or the device lock PIN on the mobile device.

Select Next to complete the registration process. The Microsoft Authenticator app has been successfully registered.
